Sorry it's been so long since my last post - the 'big push' is on to SummerNAMM - TEAmps - a special project for the man from Margaritaville - and I'm coding my new WWWebSite - hope to go live this year SOMETIME! - accessorize, Accessorize, ACCESSORIZE! - the only touchstone I have in the sound re-enforcement industry likes the noise floor of Crest and builds on that - the M7(32 & 48) is a class act - no doubt - good luck with that - on a personal note I'm going full-blown CuBase this week for my personal stuff - getting even busier - chill - SilverMind

I love Trace Elliot Amps...But I've played bass guitar for about 10 years. Also, we just got an Allen and Heath GL2400-440 at the theater I'm at for the summer. We've been trying to get an M7CL, but no luck so far. So we went with the 2400. Yes I know the M7CL is about 10 times more then the A & H but we've spent close to 30,000 with gear and processing as well. Which we have mentioned to our producer. With the M7 we wouldn't need to buy drive racks, etc...

Just to let all on this forum know - we started rolling off TraceElliot amps today - I plugged my work guitar into one and as a regular amp(TraceElliot is a bass amp) it works just fine - of course to me 500w usually sounds good - tomorrow the pedal! - God - I Love my job! - SilverMind

I am currently using the Crest HP 8 Console on my current show. I like the X 8 and the VCA 8 the most. Great sounding boards

The entire Crest line of mixers was brought up 2 speed in 2003 - 2004 - the only one I am familiar with is the XRacques and a couple of other DJ/Club products - but I have seen the others staged in our assy area in Decatur - SilverMind

Does Peavey also Manufacture the Crest Consoles?

Yeah - definitely not 'green' amps - the CA9 and the CA6 are worth their weight in gold though - and I make sure they are tested to death before they get boxed-up - rock solid performers! We put out a Pro200 Crest amp in 2001 - originally called the 'pro-lite' series that you could toss them 50ft they were so lite - with a punch that could hold a .5ohm load - powerful enough that you could hook-up a crowbar to the output and get sound out of it - 'green' amps = wave of the future - l8tr - SilverMind
